Online Stores

I don’t see the store I am looking for. Why is this?

While we try to bring you a wide variety of online stores, there is the possibility that we may not list a particular store of interest to you. This may be for several reasons, including:

  1. We do not know about the store and would love for you to submit it to the site.
  2. While the store may have an online Web site, it may not provide online shopping. In order for a store to be eligible for Miss List, you must be able to purchase its products online or through a mail-order catalog.
  3. The store does not cater to female shoppers.
  4. The store does not sell clothing, shoes or accessories (jewelry, bags, hats, belts, gloves, scarves, etc.).
  5. The store does not best reflect the Miss List image.

How can I submit a store to the site?

We are continuously adding new stores to our database and value your dedication to help make this site a top resource for online shopping. While we love to receive suggestions for new stores, please keep in mind that we do not accept all submissions. We are interested in particular types of stores that fit the Miss List image, all the while expanding our variety of stores to choose from. Please see our guidelines below for the type of stores we are looking for. If you feel you have a store that is of interest to us, please send it to stores@misslist.com.

What types of stores are you looking for?

We are more than ecstatic that you are interested in submitting a store to this site. Please keep in mind that we do not want to turn into another run-of-the-mill online directory of a million store links that serve no purpose to the user. For that reason alone, it is very important that we limit what stores we do list to make your experience as easy and enjoyable as possible.

Therefore, we request that you consider the following guidelines before submitting a store to this site:

  1. You must be able to purchase products on the store's Web site or through their mail-order catalog. Having a Web site does not automatically qualify a store as selling products over the Internet.
  2. The store must sell merchandise (clothing, shoes, accessories) for females. It is ok if the store also sells items for males.
  3. The store sells some or all of the following items: clothing, shoes, and accessories (jewelry, bags, belts, hats, gloves, scarves, etc.).
  4. We are looking for stores that are great resources for young, hip and trendy items, as well as unique one-of-a-kind items. This includes well known department stores and brand names, trendy boutiques, designer labels and independent designers, and resellers who sell similar types of products from similar types of stores.
  5. We are not a specialty site, meaning we try not to include stores that are activity-specific. If we include a "specialty" store it is because it offers other merchandise that we feel can be integrated with everyday fashion.
  6. We know that females come in all shapes and sizes and we try our best to offer stores that respect that. Our stores range in sizes from juniors and misses to plus sizes, petites and talls.

If you still are not 100% sure your store qualifies for Miss List, go ahead and send it to us anyway! Please allow 1-2 weeks for all submissions to go through the review process.

Why aren’t there any guy stores?

Currently we do not provide online stores for men and have no plans to do so in the foreseeable future. Because this site caters to females, hence the name Miss List, including men’s stores would not be in the best interest of our user base. We also feel that females partake in shopping activities more so than males and therefore would benefit more from this site than males. However, many of the stores listed on this site also sell items for men and we may include a quick search option to view those stores if we feel there is a need for it.
